Ship2Save RFID software solutions in conjunction with Microsoft's BizTalk RFID, delivers design innovation to its customers at a lower cost of ownership (TCO).
Ship2Save has been adapting its RFID based solutions to a variety of business models and industries. "BizTalk RFID has permitted us to widen our market reach by enabling us to easily create and configure several unique applications using the same framework", explains Amninder Singh, V-P of Products & Services at Ship2Save. "Additionally, BizTalk RFID Mobile facilitates our access into other areas that can benefit from RFID and that require mobility based solutions ".
The Ship2Save Operation Management System (S2S-OMS) is Ship2Save's flagship product and is based solely on Microsoft technologies including BizTalk RFID. S2S-OMS has been utilized in mobility solutions for process improvements in supply chain management and asset tracking in the transportation/logistics, manufacturing, retail, consumer goods, natural resources, aerospace and automotive industries.
A recent Ship2Save customer, a large pet food manufacturer, benefited from such a system that allowed it to "encode and ship" its merchandise to its retail client without interrupting other processes. The solution required a mobile encoding station that utilized an RFID reader to write to and validate tagged boxes along changeable conveyor lines. Ship2Save's S2S-OMS managed the hardware as well as the processes involved.
