Prior to the launch of their on-line parties, Shutterbug Designs had been conducting local home parties, featuring host and guest incentives. The excitement over the product combined with the ability to invite friends via the Internet to their party resulted in the need to conduct parties in states that Shutterbug Designs did not yet have representatives. Thus, the concept of on-line parties has arrived.
The process is simple. The party host books a two week party time frame. Party information created by Shutterbug Designs is distributed by the party host to their email list of guests. Guests are provided with a code to submit at the time of their order. This code is used to identify the sales for the host and therefore determine the total host discount at the end of the party. Unlike traditional home shopping parties where host gifts are determined by guests booking future parties, Shutterbug Designs hosts receive their free party gift regardless of whether future parties are booked.
The response to the design and quality of the products has been positive. Women and men alike are enthralled with the design of the Cocoon liner with its many pockets and ability to be machine washed. The functionality of the removable liner combined with the assortment of covers and clutches has resulted in the use of the bag expanding beyond its original design for DSLR cameras to include a limitless market of users. The Shutterbug Designs bag system is an economical method of organizing one's bag / purse. The removable Cocoon liner, with its 8 pockets and 2 adjustable dividers, acts as the ultimate organizer.
