/24-7PressRelease/ -- NRX Global Inc. has appointed the Honorable Gregory W. Slayton as President, Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Directors. Mr. Slayton served as the United States' senior diplomat to Bermuda from 2005 - 2009 under both the Bush and Obama administrations after a long and distinguished career in Silicon Valley.
Backing the new CEO, esteemed Canadian business leaders Michael DeGroote Sr. and Ron Joyce have each invested significant new capital into NRX Global Inc. The capital infusion will help NRX Global Inc. solidify its leadership position in the rapidly growing Asset Information Management (AIM) segment of the enterprise software industry. Michael DeGroote Sr., one of Canada's most successful and best known entrepreneurs, will be joining NRX's Board of Directors. These events oc¬curred in conjunction with the acquisition by NRX Global Inc. of the assets of NRX Global Corp. effective September 1, 2009.

Before becoming a senior US diplomat, Mr. Slayton spent 12 years in Silicon Valley as a CEO and venture capitalist. As an investor and advisor, Mr. Slayton served on the board of advisors of Google and other high tech leaders. As CEO, Mr. Slayton turned around a number of well known tech companies, including MySoftware (the 9th best performing stock on US capital markets in 1999). Mr. Slayton's turnaround work is the subject of a number of Harvard Business School case studies and Wall Street Journal features. Mr. Slayton is himself an honors graduate of both HBS and Dartmouth College and a former con¬sultant with McKinsey and Company.
