/24-7PressRelease/ -- Simutech Multimedia, a leader in simulation-based electrical troubleshooting training software, has announced the release of the Personal Edition of their FPS 3000 Troubleshooting Simulator, for immediate availability. In addition to the previously released Industrial Edition, for use in formal training programs across a wide range of industries such as oil and gas, manufacturing, and electrical services, the introduction of the Personal Edition provides individual users, including students, apprentices, and trade persons, the opportunity to learn how to troubleshoot complex Industrial Control Systems.
The FPS 3000 software uses a highly realistic simulation of a typical fluid processing system found in many industries, from food processing to petrochemical refineries. The software teaches users a systematic approach for troubleshooting and repairing both electrical and mechanical faults safely and efficiently.

The tools available in FPS 3000 are designed to give the user a true hands-on experience. The Multimeter gives users the ability to take voltage, resistance, and current readings. The Screwdriver can be used to disconnect and reconnect multiple wires from terminal blocks and wire nuts. The Wrench gives users the ability to perform inspections and repair components, replace a wire or component, and visually trace the route of a wire.
The FPS 3000 Personal Edition also includes an extensive troubleshooting skill evaluation system. This system assesses the user's skill each time they complete a fault and provides a skill rating. Additionally, it identifies weak areas in the user's troubleshooting process.
This release includes two Personal Editions of the FPS 3000 software. The Standard Personal Edition includes over 30 faults to troubleshoot, while the Deluxe Personal Edition includes over 50 faults.
