/24-7PressRelease/ - AYRSHIRE, SCOTLAND, April 10, 2007 - A BRAND new Ayr-based accountancy practice has been formed this month by a merger between the two well-known firms Alfred T. Scott and Sinclair Maclean.
The new merged firm will be known as Sinclair Scott, Chartered Accountants and will operate from recently refurbished and expanded premises at 3 Wellington Square, Ayr.
The partners in Sinclair Scott are Catriona Maclean, David Quayle, Andrew Sinclair and Stephen Wilkie.
Alfred T Scott & Co was the oldest firm of Chartered Accountants in Ayr, having been in existence for over 100 years, whilst Sinclair Maclean was the youngest, having been formed less than 7 years ago.
Sinclair Scott Chartered Accountants employ 20 people, and is one of the biggest accountancy firms in Ayr.
