project management and collaboration features has consistently grown since the company's recent launch of the software-as-a-service toolset for small business users. Today, Skylight is pleased to announce compatibility with 37signals' Basecamp platform, and the ability to
import Basecamp data directly into Skylight.

Current users of Basecamp will be able to try out Skylight with their actual Basecamp data. The new feature comes in the form of a Basecamp API link, which allows all contacts, projects, tasks, and milestones to be imported directly into Skylight. "Our goal is to constantly improve Skylight with
new features and integration," said Khan. "We've had requests from many of our users who have been trying to move data from Basecamp to Skylight, and our new API link now provides that capability." says Jamie Mill Co-founder of Skylightit.com.
Skylight users asking for the Basecamp import capability appreciate the extended functionalities of the Skylight package, which gives small businesses a very rich toolset that would otherwise be expensive and would lack the common interface and integration afforded by Skylight.
