/24-7PressRelease/ -- On Friday April 16, 2010 Rhythm and Ghetto Soul Crooner Slique participated in support of a great cause as he performed his hit singles Addicted and Your Body along with Sam Cook's timeless classic EURA Change Gonna ComeEUR in an effort to raise money for a south side elementary school.
Auburn Gresham is a community on the south side of Chicago that's not very far from the Englewood neighborhood where Grimed Out Recording artist Slique was born and raised. In this community there lies a jewel that acts as a resource and a safe haven for youth. This would be none other than St Sabina Academy which is the elementary school on St Sabina Campus. St Sabina is led by Father Pfleger who is known for fighting for the rights and the safety of children everywhere. On April 16, 2010 the Inaugural Scholarship Gala was held to assist with raising funds for the scholarship fund at St Sabina. The mistress of ceremonies for this event was long time supporter of St Sabina and famous actress T' Keyah Crystal Keymah. Slique was invited to deliver a special performance which was well received by the attendees as well as the event organizers. All proceeds of the event will be used in support of students who show potential to be world leaders and future stars.
