/24-7PressRelease/ - December 18, 2006 - These children were in fact from the Orphan House Kosicka Nova Ves and visiting the supermarket for a Christmas party sponsored by charity organization.
Suddenly in the middle of the party, a 2 Meters tall kangaroo appeared in the shopping centre and the children began to chase after it. Shoppers on hand were awestruck as the official mascot of Time4sharing, Boomerang the Kangaroo, armed with Christmas sweets in its pouch, began to treat the children to an afternoon of fun and games.
Time4sharing.org, which raises awareness for underprivileged children around the world, had many volunteers on hand for its celebrated its 6th annual Fun Day for 'children that matter'.
The children aged from 4 to 12 were amazed and electrified as 'Boomerang' the charity mascot, played and tantalized them with joy and surprises.
A treasure hunt followed whereby the children were split into teams and had to find all the presents that Boomerang and friends had hidden inside the shopping centre.
They were given their own trolleys and each team had 30 minutes to load up their baskets with their favorite candies and prizes. Every team was made of 4 children each and they were connected to each other by a red Christmas ribbon.
When the whistle blew, all the children had to cross the finish line with their trolleys, and everyone was a winner.
Time4sharing.org has organized over 110 events for over 10,000 children from 15 countries in its 6 years of inception.
Volunteers from Platinum International and WorldClass.sk were on hand to escort each child through a delightful afternoon of fun and dance and chasing the Kangaroo.
The event was organized through the friends of Time4sharing.org, namely WorldClass.sk and Hypernova, with the generous support from "Supreme Master Ching Hai International Association."
Time4sharing has done many fun day events in Slovakia during the past four years, and has in the past enjoyed the support of the First Lady of Slovakia, Mrs. Silvia Gašparovicová, a philanthropist and activist for education of all children in Slovakia.
Time4sharing.org has one mission, which is to create the most memorable fun day experience for children who are in one way or the other underprivileged mentally, physically or socially.
Time4sharing.org appeals to all members of every community around the world to make a contribution to these children in donating time, one of the most precious gifts they could receive.
One Volunteer, Mr.Victor Lojda of World Class Travel s.r.o. wore the Boomerang costume and animated with exuberant enthusiasm during the event said at the end...
