TORONTO, ON, February 16, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- In light of the recently publicized solar projects in Nicaragua and Jamaica, Solamon Energy Corp. CEO Graeme Boyce proudly announced today the company has signed a strategic Joint Venture Agreement with Canada Green ESCO, adding executives will now work together closely to ensure a turnkey financing solution for each country is achieved as expeditiously as possible. "We have criss-crossed the Caribbean this past year and stated since Day One that financing solar arrays is not the issue," states Boyce. "We found the successful solution involves bringing interested parties together whereby each understands the benefits of a sustainable energy deal."

While Solamon continues to expand beyond the borders of the Caribbean, based on the new JVA Boyce now expects SVP Nicolas Del Valle to visit the Dominican Republic and re-open discussions with senior administrators in Santa Domingo. Jay Yeo, Solamon President, and Christian Giles are currently in Barbados, while Steve Kuiack is in the Caymans, Ainsley Brown is in Jamaica and Corey Keegan is in Nicaragua.

Responsible for opening the Mediterranean territories, Mazen Breiche is expected to arrive in Beirut next month, where discussions to deploy solar arrays have already been initiated in Jordan, Lebanon, Tunisia and Morocco. Boyce, together with Thijs Boonen, are exploring multiple opportunities in Sri Lanka and a major announcement from this region is expected shortly.

"Wherever we are in the world," Boyce continues, "at the foundation of any deal lies the answer to the age-old question of 'who pays?' In the case of our deal with Canada Green ESCO, we have identified not one but several eligible partners who could design and commission each facility, and in true turnkey fashion operate, ensuring maximum efficiencies are maintained and managed throughout the power plant's entire life cycle."

Based in Kitchener, Canada Green ESCO is a privately-owned company and enjoys working with governments and businesses to finance solar projects. The company President is David Schenk, and he is joined at the helm by CEO Oleg Feldgajer. "We all agree," says Feldgajer, "the benefits of solar are not simply environmental and social, but economic as well. Solar offers the highest job creation per GWh produced."

Solamon Energy typically offers a ground-mounted solar array of integrated photovoltaic cells over 5 acre packages of land, which is called the Apollo Acre . The company now also designs and installs custom solutions with local partners to provide roof-mounted and parking lot systems that are easily augmented by micro wind turbine technology and other innovative features.

About Solamon: Solamon Energy Corp. sells integrated arrays of ground-mounted and rooftop photovoltaic cells. These solar power plants are connected by cable to varied transmission equipment, including converters, inverters and batteries, utilizing 5 acres of land per unit; each unit is called an Apollo Acre . Additionally, it is expected the company's business activities will spin-off many jobs locally, given engineering requirements, construction, unit commissioning and subsequent maintenance.

Solamon Energy Corp. is a Toronto based company providing sustainable renewable energy solutions to the Caribbean, and Central America.
