SoloHealth Posts Record-breaking Growth & Stats; Fueled by Emerging Self-Service Healthcare Market

Company's Self-Service Healthcare Kiosks Empower Consumers to Take Charge of Their Health; Advertisers, Retailers Continue to Benefit

ATLANTA, GA, April 28, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- SoloHealth (www.solohealth.com), the leader in self-service healthcare technology, announced today growth statistics for the end of Q1 that include record-breaking product expansion and continued staff growth, as well as strong revenue increases. SoloHealth executives cite the emerging self-service consumer healthcare market as the primary driver for growth and rapid deployment of its consumer healthcare kiosks nationwide.

"We are extremely bullish on SoloHealth's continued growth and success, especially with this continued rise in consumer's desire for self-service capabilities," said Bart Foster, CEO of SoloHealth. "Increasingly consumers want to put healthcare in their own hands. And that's exactly what our kiosks and platform allow: a vehicle to provide awareness and education that leads to action. And that equation has proved successful not only for consumers, which is the primary goal, but also for retailers, advertisers and ultimately the entire healthcare system."

Key Growth Stats for SoloHealth
- 2010 total revenue was 5X that of 2009; a similar growth trajectory is anticipated for 2011.
- SoloHealth has doubled staff over past six months and will double again by year's end.
- The number of kiosks in the field will increase 10X by the end of year.
- Metro market coverage will more than double by year-end, giving true national coverage.

The company's bilingual healthcare kiosks provide consumers in high-traffic retail and corporate environments with free health screenings and recommendations for follow-up care, which leads to prevention and lower healthcare costs. Additionally, SoloHealth's platform provides retailers and advertisers with a highly personalized and interactive avenue to reach and engage consumers.

Today's news comes on the heels of automated retail leader Coinstar's investment in SoloHealth late last month. In 2010, the National Institutes of Health, a division of the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, awarded SoloHealth a $1.2 M grant to address highly problematic areas such as hypertension, obesity, eye health and vision, nutrition and diabetes.

The company currently has its flagship eyecare kiosk, EyeSite , in retail locations nationwide. SoloHealth's next-generation comprehensive SoloHealth Station is currently in development and will offer vision, blood pressure, weight, and body mass index screening, as well as an overall health assessment and access to a database of healthcare providers.

"We are thrilled with how EyeSite has performed in the marketplace," said Foster. "But we believe the new SoloHealth Station kiosk will drastically change the way consumers approach their overall healthcare, improving access for millions of Americans and empowering them to take healthcare into their own hands."

SoloHealth's platform revolves around the kiosk, located in high-traffic retail locations, but extends beyond to numerous consumer touch points. The in-development SoloHealth Station will allow consumer interaction across digital, email, mobile, social and emerging technologies. For example, after the initial screening, users will be able to create accounts that can be accessed from any SoloHealth Station, as well as a future online portal and mobile applications, allowing users to track and trend their health data and wellness information.

The SoloHealth platform gives retailers and advertisers a highly personal and interactive way to reach and engage with empowered consumers, offering a unique and expansive consumer "POI" (Point of Interaction) for retailers and healthcare brand marketers.
