/24-7PressRelease/ -- SomaliA, star of the web series "Building Somalia" has been approached by several film directors about filming videos for her debut single "Our Day Will Come" and the second single "Streets Of Amerika" which will be released on August 18th, 2009.
"I wish I could go back home to film but at this time it's not realistic." SomaliA says, "But what I can do is recreate the feel. I really want something that will bring my words and message to life." While SomaliA refrains from providing details, it's been reported that some of the locations include Arizona, Los Angeles and San Francisco.
Taboo!! Dangerfield, director of "Building Somalia" states "The Squad Music Group creative team is also exploring the possibility of providing a short film for the fans to connect the whole project together. It will be refreshing an in the realms of music that hasn't been seen before."
Will U, whom you can see during "Building Somalia" giving vocal direction adds, "We have yet to tap into SomaliA's potential. What you see on the show is just the beginnings of something special. SomaliA, represented by Adore Management, and signed to The Squad Music Group recently opened an online merchandise store with a portion of her proceeds going to a fund to help people in her native home.
