"Songwriters often ask us: 'where do I send my music to get it cut?' They're not so much interested in a publishing deal than they are in getting someone to record their song, or, if they're the artist, to get some representation or management help," says SongDoor president, Tony Zotta. "This new music industry contacts list gives them emails, phone numbers and addresses that are not readily available to the general public. The information is current and very accurate, something I can't say for other lists that are out there. It's a little gold mine for songwriters."

The SongDoor International Songwriting Competition is an annual event, open to amateur and professional songwriters worldwide. Entries are accepted online or by mail from April 15 through November 15. The entry fee is $10 per song. Songs may be entered in the following categories: Christian, Country, Pop, Rock/Alt, Soft Rock and Instrumental.
