Ms. Smith brings 24 years of professional experience to Aurora BayCare. A former charge nurse and emergency room house supervisor, she specializes in caring for cardiac, geriatric and pediatric patients, and emergency response for trauma patients. Ms. Smith is a proud graduate of Parkland College, from which she obtained her associate degree in nursing as well as her certifications as a licensed practical nurse and registered nurse. She attributes her success as a nurse to working hard and caring for others, and aspires to further her professional growth by branching out into urgent care and step-down nursing.
