Cambridge Who's Who
- Green Bay, WI, April 18, 2008, Sonia V. Smith, a registered nurse for the Aurora BayCare Medical Center, will be included as an honored member in the 2008-2009 edition of the
Cambridge Who's Who Executive, Professional and Entrepreneurial Registry for excellence in nursing.
Ms. Smith brings 24 years of professional experience to Aurora BayCare. A former charge nurse and emergency room house supervisor, she specializes in caring for cardiac, geriatric and pediatric patients, and emergency response for trauma patients. Ms. Smith is a proud graduate of Parkland College, from which she obtained her associate degree in nursing as well as her certifications as a licensed practical nurse and registered nurse. Additional certifications include those in pediatric advanced life support, advanced cardiac life support, trauma nursing and basic life support. She attributes her success as a nurse to working hard and caring for others, and aspires to further her professional growth by branching out into urgent care and step-down nursing. Of all her specialties, pediatric nursing is what she enjoys best. She is available to discuss this subject with the media.
