LOMA LINDA, CA, April 18, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Sonya K. Blehm DeLange, Program Host, Co-Producer and Creator of four television programs for Loma Linda Broadcasting Network, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of religious broadcasting.
Mrs. Blehm DeLange has 12 years of professional experience with the Loma Linda Broadcasting Network. Prompted by a love for religious programs, she created "The Gathering Place Strummers and Singers", a 'sing along/play along' program that features nine instrumentalists and six vocalists performing gospel songs. Her responsibilities as producer of the show include coordinating the group of musicians, scheduling television crews and shooting times, and preparing music and materials, in addition to her on-camera duties as program Co-host and singer. Working for LLBN TV completely on a volunteer basis, Mrs. Blehm DeLange derives her reward through feedback received from the viewers who share how their lives have been touched by her program or how they were inspired to pick up instruments that they had not played in years. She considers creating one of the network's most, popular programs to be her proudest professional accomplishment to date.
In addition to producing and hosting "Me Gathering Place," Mrs. Blehm DeLange previously volunteered for LLBN TV as the Marketing Director as a worldwide outreach assistant. For thirty-one years she has actively worked as a professional Speech-Language Pathologist for the Yucaipa-Calimesa Joint Unified School District. As well, she has been singing first soprano with the Loma Linda University Church Choir since 1996. Recognitions with which she was honored include a Teachers' Choice Speech Therapist citation from the District of Employment in 2007 and a number of Certificates of Appreciation from Loma Linda Broadcasting Net-work TV. Honored by Cambridge Who's Who in 2008 as a VIP Member and as a Professional of the Year in Television Program Development, she attributes her success to her positive attitude and an enthusiastic work ethic.
Ms. Blehm DeLange received her Master of Science in Communication Disorders from Loma Linda University in 1975. She is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist through the California Speech-Language-Hearing Association and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Her professional affiliations include the California Speech-Language-Hearing Association and the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. In four years, Mrs. Blehm DeLange plans to retire from speech therapy and devote all of her time to Loma Linda Broadcasting Network TV Network.
The Loma Linda Broadcasting Network TV specializes in musical, health and wellness, religious and educational programs, documentaries, and lifestyle segments. Intent on expanding its base, LLBM TV recently signed contracts with China and the Middle East. Its programs are aired all over the world. For more information, visit http://www.llbn.tv.
