Sophie Boutin Recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in Residential Property Management

    QUEBEC, CANADA, October 8, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Sophie Boutin, a residential property manager for PJL Management Consultants Inc., has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in residential property management.

Over the course of 23 years, Ms. Boutin has managed more than 1,000 units in four different cities. With expertise in residential property management, she is responsible for overseeing all operations at PJL Management Consultants Inc., including supervising employees, working with contractors and project managers, negotiating contracts as well as representing clients at court proceedings. Ms. Boutin also developed expertise in successfully transforming a 50-unit building into a profitable apartment-hotel in the Sept-Iles area.

Ms. Boutin, who will be featured in an upcoming edition of Pro-Files Magazine, became involved in the property management profession because it had been a family business since 1952. In 1982, she earned a bachelor's degree in economics from McGill University and in 1985, a certificate in adminsitration at McGill; she then obtained a certificate in home inspection and construction management from Stratford University in 2007 and 2010.

She is a member and vice president of a large landlord's association in Montreal, Quebec (AOAGM) and a member of Crew and Professional Women Network. Ms. Boutin attributes her success to her hard work, persistence and discipline.
