SOS Medical Events & Conferences is now accepting Call for Papers entries for the 2010 Global Domestic Violence Gathering in KL, Malaysia on November 1 - 3, 2010
The 2010 Global Domestic Violence Gathering is set to be the largest gathering of community groups, government and NGO agencies devoted to highlighting and showcasing successful programs with the aim of empowering people and workers in the field of domestic violence.

    RAWAI, THAILAND, November 03, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- SOS Medical Events & Conferences is pleased to announce the 2010 Global Domestic Violence Gathering in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on November 1-3, 2010. This conference is set to be the largest gathering of community groups, government and non-government agencies (NGO's) who are all devoted to highlighting and showcasing successful programs with the aim of empowering people and workers in the field of domestic violence. This event will bring together people from all walks of life coming from all corners of the world.

This gathering will look at such issues as research, community programs, governmental programs and the dissemination of information to the whole community with the aim of empowering individuals and communities to take action. At the 2010 event, we have also invited Indigenous groups from countries such as Australia, New Zealand, Canada and East Timor. Many of these countries have strong and powerful leadership in the areas of control and prevention of domestic violence. These groups have developed superb initiatives both within their countries and in their Indigenous communities.

The conference call for papers is now open and will close on December 31, 2009. Individuals are encouraged to submit proposals that focus on 1 of 10 categories: (1) Gender Equalization, (2) Successful Government Campaigns, (3) Drug Abuse and Domestic Violence, (4) Addressing mental health needs, (5) Understanding the issues we face, (6) Domestic Violence in Indigenous Communities, (7) Working with the Family and Perpetrators, (8) Domestic Violence in Western Society, (9) Services for multiple abuse victims, (10)Supporting women at risk of honor based violence.
