/24-7PressRelease/ -- Since 2001, world-renowned plastic and reconstructive surgeon Dr. Daniel Man has continued striving to make a positive impact in South Florida. In coordination with the Palm Beach County Victim services, Dr. Man has provided his time and talents in helping the physically injured victims of domestic abuse heal. Aware that the physical scars of abuse can be a constant reminder to survivors, Dr. Man aims to correct the physical so that the deeper healing can begin. In addition, he has helped create a program for these survivors to help educate and support others in violent situations.
After nose reconstruction, dermabrasion and right ear graph due to serious injuries caused by an abusive boyfriend, one of his patients said, "Dr. Man was very nice to me. From the start he let me know that he couldn't guarantee the results, but that he thought he could help me and would try his best. I had a lot of confidence in him and he told me of his work using Body Glue and other healing methods that could help me. The change he made in my nose was unbelievable. When I go back and look at picture from before my surgery I still can't believe it. I will never forget his kindness, and I will always be eternally grateful to Dr. Man and his wonderful staff."
For his efforts Dr. Man has been honored with the NCVRW Service Award for 2009 from Attorney General Eric Holder for his pro bono service to victims of domestic abuse. He has been named a "Physician Hero" finalist by Palm Beach County Medical Society. For his wide variety of philanthropic contributions he has been recognized by Florida's Governor, two Senators and a U.S. Congressman.
Dr. Man is a pioneer in his field and has a thriving private practice in Boca Raton, Florida and the clinic offers a state-of-the-art operating room, top of the line treatment rooms as well as private guest suites. He is board certified and an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the Palm Beach County Society of Plastic Surgery. He has invented the Vertical Bed a surgical bed that when combined with SmartLipo allows him to create more even contours than traditional methods.
