Photodynamic Therapy is used to treat AKs, pre-cancerous growths as well as skin cancer. The therapy combines a photosensitizing drug with a specific type of light to eliminate cancer cells.
Dr. Eisen is a recognized expert in laser therapy and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology; the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery and the American Society of Lasers in Medicine and Surgery. He recently attended the American Society of Dermatological Surgery's lectures in Orlando, Florida on new technology for skin cancer screening as well as the latest surgical techniques in dermatology and the latest advanced treatments with lasers.
