Southern Regional Education Board (SREB) to Host Two Conferences That Connect K-12 Educators to Strategies That Work

Louisville to host 30TH Annual High Schools that work staff development conference and 4th annual college- and career-readiness standards networking conference.



    ATLANTA, GA, May 28, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Southern Regional Education Board (SREB), a non-profit organization that works with states, policy makers and educators to improve public education at every level, will hold its two major, annual conferences between July 11-16, 2016 in Louisville, Ky.

The two education-focused conferences are expected to draw thousands of attendees from more than 30 states. The schedules include:
• July 11-13: 4th Annual College- and Career Readiness Standards Networking Conference
• July 13-16: 30th Annual High Schools That Work Staff Development Conference

The 4th Annual College- and Career Readiness Standards Networking Conference empowers teachers to lead the way in student achievement. Teachers and leaders are introduced to to proven strategies that will enable more students to meet the standards.

The 30th Annual High Schools That Work Staff Development Conference provides innovative, proven strategies that will prepare students with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in school and the 21st century workplace.
