/24-7PressRelease/ -- In end-May, a large South-Korean producer of baked goods and confectionery received the first trial batch of high-grade flour from PAVA, according to the contract signed a month earlier. The newly- established partnership became the first direct shipment of the Altay grain processor to South Korea.
The agreement was signed after detailed preliminary talks. In April 2009, a delegation from South-Korean manufacturer visited PAVA flour mill in Achinsk. Company representatives were accorded full review of the flour production cycle, from processing to packaging.
The first part of the 600 tonne consignment was shipped in standard polypropylene bags. For the second portion, which is still on its way to South Korea, PAVA developed a special 20-kg paper package with marking according to individual requirements of the client. The partners agreed on the shortest transportation route, through seaports of the Far East and South-Korean port Sokcho.
The company stressed that Asia-Pacific region is considered among strategically important markets, where PAVA will continue to develop mutually beneficial export opportunities.
