/24-7PressRelease/ -- Held on October 13 at the private La Canada Flintridge Country Club in La Canada, California, the 2nd Annual Spearmint Rhino Charity golf tournament raised more than $9,500 for the non-profit organization, Savannah's Organic Ranch.
Players in the 160-player tournament enjoyed free lunch on the course, gift bags, Spearmint Rhino logo items and the Rhino girls all around the course. Players also had the opportunity to have one of the Rhino girls caddy for them.
The tournament also featured several contests, including a Closest to the Pin, Longest Drive and Hole in One contests.
Mercedez Benz of Encino put up a brand new C300 as one of the hole in one prizes. Other hole in one prizes included $10,000 cash, a big screen TV and two free domestic airline tickets.
The tournament also featured dinner and an awards banquet where players ate, mingled and participated in the raffle and silent auction.
"This year's tournament was much bigger and better than last year's tournament," says Joe Sachen, Founder of Savannah's Organic Ranch. "This tournament had a good turnout, good people and all supporting a good cause. It's beyond words."
Spearmint Rhino will donate $9,652.99 to Savannah's Organic Ranch.
