Asclera works by forcing the body to repair and adapt. The injected solution damages an effected vein's lining, causing the vein to close and thereby stopping blood flow. Swelling, discomfort, pain and discoloration cease with the elimination of the troublesome vein, while new vessels form to return blood flow to the surrounding area.
