Stacey Mitchell King, Ph.D., Recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Education

    COLUMBUS, OH, February 27, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Stacey Mitchell King, Teacher and Researcher of Columbus City Schools, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in education.

As a teacher and researcher of Columbus City Schools, Dr. Mitchell King teaches physical education and health. She is a major proponent of writing, teaching and reading skills, and she works with students at-risk of dropping out, meeting with them at least once a week to work on the skills they need to get to stay in school rather than give up. She became involved in her profession after she started taking physical education courses and her adviser suggested that she become a physical education teacher, he convinced her to try that major and she liked it and never looked back.

Dr. Mitchell King received a Ph.D. in education from Capella University in 2010. In years to come, she intends to publish her research and teach part-time at an online university.
