FORT MYERS, FL, March 09, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Stanley Moeschl has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Driven by a curious work ethic and his desire to make a true impact in his industry, Mr. Moeschl has been an electronics and electrical engineer for the better part of five decades. He began his career with Honeywell's space division, where over the course of three decades he served in increasingly responsible roles. From engineer, he advanced to engineering manager, program manager and director of engineering. By 1980, he took on a vice presidential and general management role for the space division and, after two years, took over the management of Honeywell's avionics division. While at Honeywell, Mr. Moeschl was involved in designing and producing Avionics for all U.S. Manned Flight Systems, including Mercury, Gemini, Apollo, and Space Shuttle. He was also involved in providing equipment for all the A11, YF12, SR71, B52, F14, C5A, F111, B2, C17, and the Viking Lander 1976. Notably, Mr. Moeschl worked on numerous missile programs including Bomarc, Agena, Atlas Centaur, Minuteman, and Air Launch Cruise Missile.

From 1959 to 1970 Mr. Moeschl worked exclusively on top secret programs with the CIA, the U.S. Air Force and Lockheed Skunk Works. He was cleared on Archangel, Oxcart, Black Shield, Kedlock, Tagboard, and Senior Bowl programs. During the eleven years of being a Spook, Mr. Moeschl met monthly with personnel from the CIA in Washington, D.C., Air Force personnel at the Pentagon in Virginia, SAC Headquarters in Omaha, Nebraska, Lockheed Skunk Works in Burbank, California and spent months at Area 51 in Nevada. Two of the more memorable events during this time were discovering and verifying the removal of Russian missiles in Cuba; and finding the Pueblo in a North Korean port three days after that country captured the ship and crew in international waters.

Following his tenure with Honeywell, Mr. Moeschl achieved the role of president with Sundstrand Data Control, where he demonstrated his expertise in business management and engineering. He remained in this role until his retirement in 1992. Since then, Mr. Moeschl has continued to take on consulting opportunities in his field. An active participant in his professional community, he is involved with initiatives led by the IEEE and the Association of Individual Investors. In recognition of his professional excellence, Mr. Moeschl was selected for inclusion into Who's Who in Finance and Business, Who's Who in America, Who's Who in Science and Engineering, Who's Who in the South and Southwest, and Who's Who in the World. When asked of his success over the course of 50 years, Mr. Moeschl notes that his education allowed him to garner a deep understanding of the engineering field which helped propel him forward when it came to the application of these learnings. Before establishing his career, he attended Purdue University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering in 1957. Looking to the future, Mr. Moeschl plans to continue enjoying his retirement while taking on new projects. Mr. Moeschl and his wife, Kathy, also enjoy visiting and being visited by their four children, eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
