Mr. Stengell has brought more than 15 years of management experience to Encore Energy, Inc. as President and CEO. Mr. Stengell derives his success from his foundation of hard work, experience and formal education. The petroleum industry is where his passion lies. In 2002, he received an MBA at Western Kentucky University, and a bachelor's degree in corporate finance from Western Kentucky University in 1995. He completed the petroleum engineering graduate certification in the program "Reserves and Valuation" from Texas A&M University in 2005 and the IPAA Executive Management program, instructed by professors of Harvard Business School, in 2004. As the President & CEO of a publicly traded E&P company. Mr. Stengall was awarded the 2010 Community Impact "Business of the Year" in Bowling Green, KY. In October 2010, Mr. Stengall and Encore Energy, Inc. were featured in the Editor's Choice" American Oil and Gas Reporter magazine article, "Experienced Executives Form New Companies to Fine Oil, Liquids."
