Stewart, founder of The Stewart Law Firm, P.L.L.C. in Austin, Texas, announces that Stephen Stewart has received a special Keystone Award for his significant contributions to Crime Victims First (CV1) to ensure victims of crime are educated about their legal rights, receive support and assistance with their rights, and have remedies available to them if those rights are violated. This is a one-time award. In addition, the Stewart family, Stephen, his wife, Ginger, and their two children, Jackson and Jordan, will be honored by having the CV1 annual award named after them. The Stewart Family Outstanding Community Service Award will be given each year in June to an individual or agency that made significant contributions to the mission of Crime Victims First.
This year, Crime Victims First announced that the following individuals and agencies have received the 2011-2012 Stewart Family Outstanding Community Service Award: J. Shriner and KVUE News; Jazz Trumpeter, Jeff Lofton; Whitney Drury; Jeremiah Reagan; and Daniel Davison. Thanks to their support, Crime Victims First continues to implement victims' rights resources and programs throughout Texas.
Crime Victims First will honor this year's award winners at its Open House, Sunday, June 5th, Noon to 3:00 p.m., at Crime Victim First's new offices located at 6900 Scenic Brook Drive, Austin, Texas. Food and beverages will be provided along with live jazz music played by the Jeff Lofton Trio.
Regarding the award from Crime Victims First, attorney Stephen W. Stewart explains that he is honored and humbled to receive such an award.
