The mission of the Stratos Jets' Approved Vendor Program is to verify that every Stratos Jets vendor meets and exceeds with the strictest, most stringent standards in the industry to ensure passenger safety. In order to become a member of this elite association of air carriers, the Las Vegas-based operator had to demonstrate its compliance with Federal Aviation Administration and Department of Transportation regulations as well as Stratos Jets' own safety and maintenance standards. To become a Stratos Jets approved vendor, the Las Vegas-based private jet operator was required to demonstrate its commitment to air charter safety standards by maintaining extremely high levels of aircraft insurance. These insurance standards require a minimum of $25 million of insurance on all turboprop aircraft and $50 million on all other private jet aircraft. By maintaining a higher level of aircraft insurance, Stratos Jets can verify the aircraft operators' commitment to passenger safety and aircraft maintenance.
Stratos Jets newest vendor met and exceeded these expectations by maintaining a minimum of $50 million of insurance on its two Stratos Jets-approved aircraft. These aircraft include a Learjet 31 light jet with $50 million of liability insurance and a Learjet 60 mid-size aircraft with $100 million liability insurance. These aircraft offer all the luxury and reliability of the Learjet line of aircraft along with an impeccable safety record. In addition, the two new approved aircraft are maintained in a state-of-the-art maintenance facility that protects the integrity of the aircraft.
