Cork's leading outsourced marketing firm Success Corcaigh attend Mumford and Sons concert at Phoenix Park in Dublin.

CORK, IRELAND, July 19, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Managing director James Neal at Cork's outsourced sales and marketing firm Success Corcaigh spent his Sunday evening watching Mumford and Sons perform at Dublin's Phoenix Park.

Mumford and Sons and a host of lesser-known artists performed live this weekend (14th July) in front of a huge crowd of almost 40,000 people. Fresh from their headline slot at Glastonbury, Mumford and Sons' performance was much anticipated, following great performances from their support acts.

The day started off with an impressive set from up and coming act Ham Sandwich. Their huge production really set the day off to a great start, with their quirky and unique sound complimenting the atmosphere in Phoenix Park and all those making the most of the weekend's incredible weather. Following Ham Sandwich was the LA collective Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros were an unbelievable spectacle. Their enigmatic and eccentric frontman, Alex Ebert set Phoenix Park into full swing jumping from the stage to mingle with the excited revellers. Not only did Alex Ebert get involved with the crowd, he got the crowd involved with the performance too. A main highlight of the day would have to be witnessing a festival goer propose to his girlfriend live on camera!

The Vaccines came in representing London proudly performing some fan favourites and getting a great response from their entire audience. The much awaited performance from Ben Howard really brought the numbers in and the festival to its peak. Howard seduced the crowd with unforgettable performances and audience participation for a few of his hits, 'The Wolves' and 'Keep Your Head Up'. The upbeat and cheery acoustic sounds of Ben Howard and his whole band set the scene perfectly for the main event to follow. As the evening drew in Mumford and Sons took to the stage to an eruption of cheers, whistles and waving arms.

Mumford and Sons didn't fail to deliver for this sell out crowd, the huge stage exploded with excitement the second the band struck their first chord. 'I Will Wait' was greeted with much singing, bouncing and cheering as the crowd were surprised to hear the huge fan favourite. 'The Cave' also drew huge support from the unwavering crowd. The sun had firmly set and Phoenix Park was cast into shadows as Mumford and Sons left the stage to cries of one more song. The band returned with a dramatic and final flurry of tracks before inviting their support acts on stages for their big finale. The whole group got together, with a host of instruments, microphones and performers scattering the stage to perform the dramatically effective folk classic 'Galway Girl'. The effect was sensational.

The crowds dispersed slowly, constant chatter of the night's success and enjoyment was to be heard over the whole trip back to parked cars. The performance was missing nothing. Mumford and Sons delivered a flawless session, the weather was perfect, the support acts performed above expectations and the whole event cannot be promoted and complimented enough.
