FOLSOM, CA, October 22, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Val Fujii, a Folsom personal trainer and owner of Superwomen Boot Camp, is proud to announce that he has teamed up with Matt Sgro of Boot Camps With a Purpose to form "Pacific Islands Relief Boot Camp", a charity that has been set-up to raise funds for the recent tsunami disaster in American Samoa.

"Countless people have lost members of their family in this great tragedy and I wanted to find a way to help the people of American Samoa while at the same time giving back to my local community," Fujii says. Fujii goes on to say, "This Saturday, October 24th, we will hold a special boot camp open to the public with 100% of the proceeds going to provide school supplies to the children of American Samoa who lost their schools."

Fujii goes on to mention that the charity boot camp will be a special "Pumpkin Workout". "Since Halloween is just around the corner, we thought it would be fun to have participants dress up in their favorite costume, pick up a pumpkin and bring it with them to use in the workout."

Thanks to the support and help from Monique Solofa, a personal trainer from American Samoa, and Sandra King-Young, the Executive Director of the Pacific Islands Center for Educational Development (PICED), all you have to do to participate in the charity boot camp is bring a school supply or a tax-deductible donation of $15 or more, along with your mailing address, to the boot camp. We will take care of the rest and ensure that your donation makes it to American Samoa. If you are unable to attend the boot camp or if you prefer to make your donation online, you also have the option of donating through a special PayPal link, which can be found at http://www.bcwap.org. It's that simple.

So, tell your friends and neighbors and come on out to enjoy a great workout at a great price while supporting a great cause, this Saturday from 8.30AM-9.30AM at 405 Natoma Station Drive in Folsom. Be sure to remember to bring your yoga mat or towel. We look forward to seeing you there!
