/24-7PressRelease/ -- SurgiCare, the leading cosmetic surgery company, has announced an agreement with BMI Healthcare, the UK's largest private hospital group, which means SurgiCare's patients will have national access to BMI's top class private hospitals for surgical procedures.
Initially, the focus will be on five of BMI's 56 hospitals, in London, Central Manchester, Birmingham, Sheffield and Harrogate. It is the intention to add further hospitals as soon as it is practically possible, giving SurgiCare's patients access to a much greater number of hospitals than any other
cosmetic surgery company in the UK.
Speaking on the announcement, CEO of SurgiCare Mark Bury said: "This is excellent news and is a crucial move for us. It is our intention to use this agreement to create a leading position in the UK cosmetic surgery market.
"BMI's hospitals are second to none, meaning we will be able to offer our patients even better facilities and locations, giving us much greater flexibility and opportunity to grow. SurgiCare has shown phenomenal growth over the past few years, growing fifty per cent year-on-year for the past two years and is expecting further growth of around thirty per cent this year, despite the tough economic climate.
Mark Bury added: "This deal signifies the start of a new period of growth for us, as the access to an increased number of hospitals will enable us to grow our services for patients and perfrom more procedures to meet the demand of the fast growing UK marketplace."
