- Garden City, NY, April 25, 2008, Susan J. Horowitz, Office Manager and Administrator of Michael R. Sullivan & Company, CPAs, PC, will be included as an honored member in the 2008-2009 edition of the

Ms. Horowitz has 21 years of professional experience in the accounting industry. Her day-to-day responsibilities include managing administrative duties for certified public accountants, overseeing payroll, billing, working with invoice payments, taxation, tracking licenses for due dates, ordering supplies, organizing tax programs and monthly meetings, signing checks, installing software and troubleshooting, bookkeeping for clients, managing public relations and hiring and supervising part time employees.
Prior to her current position, Ms. Horowitz worked as an assistant photographer, college bulletin editor and a medical manuscripts editor. She also assists Jean E. Sullivan, Attorney at Law, with paralegal duties for the past 10 years.
In 1968, Ms. Horowitz received her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Education from Hofstra University and is now pursuing a Notary and Document Certification. She received the Secretarial Award from the Long Island Community as well as receiving the Long Island Photographer Award.
Ms. Horowitz is affiliated with organizations such as the American Lung Association, the Muscular Dystrophy Association and United Way and she is also a frequent contributor to local charitable organizations.
