Susan Lamb Chosen as a Professional of the Year for Changing Lives through Hypnotherapy

Ms. Lamb's trials and tribulations in life led her to a career to help others turn their lives around

Ms. Lamb is a clinical hypnotherapist, who possesses an uncanny ability to empathize with the client, actually feeling what they feel.

SAN DIEGO, CA, January 30, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Professional Hypnotherapist Susan Lamb has been named a Worldwide Branding Professional of the Year in Hypnotherapy. While inclusion in Worldwide Branding is an honor, only small selections of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Worldwide Branding membership.

Ms. Lamb is a clinical hypnotherapist, who possesses an uncanny ability to empathize with the client, actually feeling what they feel. In her role of the past three years as a hypnotherapist, she provides a host of hypnotherapy services used to help clients change any part of their lives, stop smoking, lose weight, boost confidence, pass tests, improve focus and concentration, bolster sports motivation, conquer a fear of flying, attain better sleep and overcome interview nerves. Additionally, she is trained as a special medical adjunct, visiting hospitals and calming patients before anesthesia and during surgery. She also works to manage chronic and acute pain, childbirth, and relaxation during chemotherapy. A client's life can be changed in 90 minutes if she can get to the "initial sensitizing event" and pull it out of the subconscious. Once this event has been located, she says, "I have the client look at it for what it is: a big fat lie and a wrong decision about themselves. Call it a lie and move on!"

Ms. Lamb worked at her father's very large car dealership in San Diego for five years. That was an education about sales, people, and life. It was a "fast house," which means "on-the-spot delivery." It was her job on Monday morning to sell the loans to the banks on the cars that were already gone, and sometimes the buyer had credit that was a little dubious. Prior to this, she grew up with great privilege, left home rebelliously at 16, and had three marriages and three children by age 21. She has been penniless, living in horrible conditions by her own choice. She can be at home at the country club or biker bar. She feels as if this is about her sixth lifetime. She lost her son at age 40 to heroin addiction, and has had many life experiences, what she calls a "Ph.D. in hard knocks."

Her advice to others is: "Do not be a friend to your children. Be a parent. Be nosey, ask questions, know their friends, keep track of their whereabouts. Keep them safe at any cost to yourself. Men come and go, but your children are yours on loan from God." She also says, "If you have a dog and a handyman, you do not need a husband." A husband would be nice to have if they meet her as an equal partner, an already whole and complete person. She has a full life with many interests. The man she is looking for has a full life with many interests. They would add to each other's lives, never subtract. Ms. Lamb's life experiences, eleven years of studying human behavior, and the empathy and compassion she gained from losing a child are what separate her from her peers. When she does a session for someone, she 'empties herself,' or becomes a clear channel, and God does the work. Sometimes, she does not remember what she has said, but rather the person heals and God does the healing through her.

She attributes her success to finding her passion after the death of her son. After her father and son died 53 days apart, she had no one to shock and no one to enable. This is when she began to study "why people do what they do." She slept with books from 2003 and is still sleeping with books about the subject. She became involved in her profession because her son's death was drug related. She is on a mission to help people who may want her help. Ms. Lamb was in talk therapy for 35 years. Nothing changed, except she understood what happened in her family of origin. Going to hypnotherapy school, reconnecting with her higher self, and giving dignity to her past changed her level of self esteem.

Professionally, Ms. Lamb is affiliated with the National Board for Certified Clinical Hypnotherapists. Outside of her professional duties, she is trying to get a program into the California Prison System called "Reaching Out from Within." Ms. Lamb intends to open a clinic that provides alternative healing services for free to addicts who are willing to commit to changing their lives.
