With 30 years of professional experience, Ms. MacKie has been in her current position with Bender Group for 15 years. As human resources director, she is responsible for managing all human resources functions of the company including compensation, benefits, recruiting, training and working in interactive labor relations. She became involved in her profession when a handwriting analyst interviewed her in her first human resources interview and found her to be a good fit for a higher position. Prior to joining Bender Group, she worked in human resources in the casino industry. She attributes her success to her diligence and her ability to be diplomatic and facilitate resolutions.

Ms. MacKie is a recipient of the Exemplary Safety Award for Self-Insured Worker's Compensation by Bender Group. A high school graduate, she is currently pursuing coursework in law. She was a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and currently works with the Nevada Association of Employers. In addition to her career in human resources, Ms. MacKie is in the process of developing a peach orchard at MacKie Farms through research unique to Nevada. She provides ongoing education as an orchardist, which she aspires to pursue full-time after her retirement from the corporate sector.
