To honor the occasion, Sweet Baby Ray's has launched several drink and barbecue specials available through the end of August.
Monday Night Barbecue Buffet
New this month, Sweet Baby Ray's offers an All You Can Eat Barbecue Buffet every Monday, beginning at 5 p.m. Hungry patrons enjoy Rib Tips, Pulled Pork, Jerk Chicken, Windy City Stir Fry with Italian sausage, pepper, onions and potatoes, Barbecue Beans, Coleslaw, Smoked Tomato Pasta, Tossed Salad and Cornbread. Be sure to save room for dessert with Sweet Baby Ray's mouthwatering Bread Pudding. The buffet is available Mondays $9.99 for adults and $7.99 for children, 12 and under. Extra hungry guests may order a single 1/3 slab of Ribs for only $5.
Kids Eat Free on Tuesday
Customers may want to bring the entire family Tuesday nights, because children eat free at Sweet Baby Ray's. Kids ages 12 and under receive a complimentary children's meal with the purchase of one regularly priced adult entr e. This offer is available each Tuesday, after 5 p.m.
Wednesday Night All You Can Eat Ribs
The Sweet Baby Ray's team won first prize for Best Ribs at the 2008 Naperville Ribfest last month, and now customers can put them to the test. Every Wednesday, Sweet Baby Ray's features All You Can Eat Baby Back Ribs ($16.99/person).
Smoked Prime Rib Dinner Weekend Special
Every Friday and Saturday evening, Sweet Baby Ray's features a Smoked Prime Rib Dinner, complete with favorite side dishes ($18.99/person).
Complimentary Appetizers at the Bar
Every Monday through Friday, customers enjoy complimentary appetizers at the Sweet Baby Ray's bar, 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Chili Cheddar Potato Skins and Chips and Salsa are served Mondays; Windy City Stir Fry with Italian sausage, peppers, onions and potatoes, as well as Cornblasters, deep-fried cornbread with dipping sauce are served Tuesdays; Wednesdays are reserved for Pulled Pork and Jerked Meatballs, while Thursdays bring Hot Wings and Barbecue Meatballs. Every Friday, the bar serves Pretzel Bites with honey mustard dipping sauce and Smokin' Wings.
Carry-Out Specials
Now through August 31, Sweet Baby Ray's is featuring several specials on Carry Out orders. Pulled Pork sandwiches are $6.99 Ala Carte, or $5.99 each when customers purchase five or more. Bring home the Family Pack Chicken Dinner with a whole barbecue chicken, a pint of coleslaw, a pint of barbecue beans and four pieces of cornbread ($19.99). These deals are available on carry out orders only.
Cocktail Specials
Sweet Baby Ray's recently unveiled two new feature cocktails. The Lemon Rush Martini with Bacardi Limon Rum, fresh lime juice, orange liquor, cranberry juice and orange juice is a sweet and refreshing addition ($6). The Fresh Berry cocktail combines orange liquor, house vodka, fresh lemon juice and strawberry puree, topped with a splash of soda for a tart treat ($6).
All month long, customers can enjoy the Drink of the Month, an Absolut Peach and Cranberry cocktail available for $4 everyday. Monday night specials include Miller Drafts ($2.25), Miller Lite and Highlife bottles ($2.50) and $5 Jose Cuervo Margaritas. Tuesday drink specials are Blue Moon drafts ($3) and Flavored Frozen Daiquris ($5) for Strawberry, Mango or Banana. On Wednesday, specials include Coors Light bottles ($2.50) and Homemade Sangria ($5). Thursday evening, guests enjoy Bud and Bud Light bottles ($2.50) and Jose Cuervo Margaritas ($5).
Sweet Baby Ray's Introduces Brunch Buffet in September
Starting next month, Sweet Baby Ray's will offer a monthly themed brunch menu. The first brunch is Sunday, September 14 with seatings at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Patrons of the inaugural Sweet Baby Ray's brunch will enjoy a Tailgating themed menu. Selections include an omelet station, carved tequila-cilantro grilled flank steak, carved slow smoked beef brisket, grilled cheddar bratwurst, smoked polish sausage, barbecue ribs, barbecue chicken, pulled pork, grilled pork chops with long pepper and yellow pepper relish, three-bean and three-meat chili and ditalini pasta in cheddar cheese sauce.
Salads on the buffet include Southwestern Shrimp and avocado salad, Caesar salad and tossed salad. Customers will also enjoy fresh fruit and assorted breakfast pastries. Dessert selections include Super bowl trifle, chocolate fudge brownies and grilled pound cake with cinnamon apples.
The monthly brunch special is $19.99 for adults and $8.99 for children, ages 6-12. Subsequent brunch specials will be held one time per month October 12, November 9 and December 14. Reservations are highly recommended by calling the restaurant at (847) 437-9555.
