Ms. Herrera's 30 years of expertise lies in tropical and southwestern water coloring. Featured as an emerging artist in Art Business News in 2004, she is building a reputation for herself in the art world of Arizona, California, and Hawaii and intends to expand her business to even more areas in the future.

She has seen her work displayed by Studio Gallery, Rock Island Gallery, Nese Gallery, Island Treasures Art Gallery, Alta Vista Gallery, Brea Gallery, various restaurants and corporate collections, hotels and doctors offices.

Ms. Herrera has been asked to judge several student art contests. She attributes her success to her determination and marketing skills.

Sylvia is an associate member of National Watercolor Society and Watercolor West. She has also recently joined Arizona Watercolor Association, Southwestern Arizona Watercolor Guild, and Tucson Pima Arts Council as an associate.

She has volunteered and contributed work to Brea Civic and Cultural Center Gallery, Childhelp USA, and other charitable organizations.

She looks forward to continuing her professional growth.
