Sylvie Moreau Honored for Accomplishments in the Beauty Industry

Ms. Moreau, who received an MBA from the ESSEC Business School, has more than 20 years of experience and over her illustrious career has amassed a wealth of knowledge and experience in the beauty industry and garnered a reputation for excellence in strategy development, brand building and innovation.

Ms. Moreau is currently the global general manager for Wella, the salon division of Procter & Gamble. In this role, she is responsible for the portfolio of brands in P&G which are sold exclusively to salons and represent a turnover of $2 billion. Her team manages all aspects of the brand's strategy, including innovation, design and packaging, marketing and communication inside and outside the Salons and stylist education.

Ms. Moreau's most recent business achievement is the highly successful global launch of ILLUMINA Color, a professional permanent color which has set a new benchmark for premium salon color services, becoming a strong business and reputation driver for Wella and creating significant value in the hairdressing industry. ILLUMINA Color proudly claims several prestigious beauty awards, such as "Innovation of the Year" in the United States, German's "Salon Superstar' or Allure's "Beauty Breakthrough of 2013." The launch campaign for the new brand has recently received the coveted 2013 Euro Effie advertising award. Last September, Ms. Moreau was recognized by Intercoiffure as Officer of Ordre de la Chevalerie, honoring her contribution and commitment to the hairdressing industry.

Ms. Moreau supports a number of worthy causes to promote education and how it can change people's lives. These programs include the Wella Unicef Making Wave program, which she has founded, and FERE, a Geneva based foundation for fair education. She is also passionate about the development of professional women and driving a message of "Sisterhood" in business, to help drive a more positive and supportive environment for women to thrive.
