In the meantime, the Synology Disk Station DS108j, an economic version of Synology NAS product line, won the 3rd place, while another sibling, the Synology Disk Station DS207+, took the 7th ¡V making Synology the sole brand that occupied 3 slots on the top 10 chart.

Synology DS107+¡¦s journey of honor from the CHIP Magazine can be traced back to October 2007 when it first debuted in the Magazine¡¦s "CHIP Top 10" chapter. The model easily took over the "Test Winner" award in the NAS product section leading Mr. Christophe Giese, editor at the time, to his following comment: "No other NAS devices has offered such complete and idea-rich equipment" and to give Synology DS107+ the title of "Perfekte Netzwerkzentrale"(Perfect Network Center).
