/24-7PressRelease/ -- During PAVA's recent visit to Tajikistan, the partners discussed possibilities of introducing flour "Zhitnitsa" in the traditional bakery sector of the country. PAVA, the largest grain processor in the eastern part of Russia, has long-standing business relations with companies from Central Asia, and its assortment has earned the deserved recognition from local customers. Now, Tajik bakers are testing an exclusive achievement of PAVA's own milling technique, to assess its compatibility with the national cuisine.
Tajik market shows high level of bread consumption, and the most widespread national bakery are pancakes 'non' and 'lavash', used with all the main courses. They are cooked in special ovens which sets certain criteria for the flour quality; however, test results proved that "Zhitnitsa" is an excellent material even for a specific baking technology.
Manufacturers have noted a delicious flavour of the baked goods and the pronounced aroma, which is much brighter compared to standard products. Owing to the crumb quality of "Zhitnitsa", a suggested application was pancakes for meat and vegetable soup "shurpa".
To recap, PAVA has co-operated with the Republic since 2007, through commercial shipments and food aid, being one of the leading Russian flour exporters to Tajikistan.
