The short quiz asks about home lighting, security, sprinklers and more, in an effort to help consumers learn about energy and money-saving products for the home.
Everyone who enters and completes the quiz gets a chance to win energy-saving products and is entered into the grand prize drawing of a 10-piece INSTEON Home Control System, complete with professional installation.
"After the success from our last campaign, we wanted to give customers another opportunity to learn more about how to save money while being energy-efficient," said Scharnagl. "It also gives us an opportunity to offer a great INSTEON grand prize to someone who might not currently have home automation products."
The prize offered for the month of August is an iPod Touch and SmartLinc that controls INSTEON-compatible devices in the home.
All contest winners will be announced on Smarthome's Facebook Page, and customers must "Like" the page in order to view the winners.
