TAMPA, FL, December 14, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Following an update of its website in August, Castellano Cosmetic Surgery Center (http://www.castellanocosmeticsurgery.com) is continuing its online image overhaul with a new and improved photo gallery. Now, prospective patients will be able to see past client results with even greater detail to help them better understand and prepare for their upcoming surgeries.
"A picture really is worth a thousand words," states Tampa cosmetic surgeon Dr. Joseph J. Castellano. "No matter how many articles prospective patients may read describing the procedure, what they really want to know is what they'll look like afterward."
Pictures showing real patients from the Castellano Cosmetic Surgery Center give clear views of healed incisions and scar placement from surgical procedures, as well as slimmer lines resulting from body sculpting techniques. For those who may be hesitating about committing to a certain procedure, seeing the positive results is often an encouragement for them to move forward. Additionally, viewing photos is one of the prime ways patients can pick a good surgeon.
"Part of the initial process in choosing a surgeon is to find someone with the right skills and credentials for your specific procedure," explains Dr. Castellano. "Just because a surgeon is great at liposuction doesn't mean he's as good with breast lifts. Before and after photos are one of the best tools a patient can use to gauge the skill level of their prospective provider."
The new photo gallery system allows Dr. Castellano to add detailed descriptions of procedures, so he can provide patient age, surgical data, and a full list of all procedures performed for each case. The practice will be adding this information over the coming months. By providing details, Dr. Castellano can better educate prospective patients about their options.
"For example, silicone gel implants have gained popularity in recent years, and a lot of women come to my office thinking saline implants aren't going to work for them," says Dr. Castellano. "One visit to the breast augmentation gallery will show them some terrific examples of women who chose saline implants, and will help them to think more carefully about their implant options."
With the new photo gallery in place, Dr. Castellano plans to have more new cases added in the coming months. The gallery is helpful both for men and women who are considering the practice, as well as patients who have selected the practice and are looking for a way to discuss the type of results they are looking for. During consultations, prior patient photos can be used to ensure that the new patient and Dr. Castellano are on the same page regarding desired surgical results.
Castellano Cosmetic Surgery Center (http://www.castellanocosmeticsurgery.com) was founded in Tampa by Dr. Joseph J.
