Tasteful Treasures and Go Red for Women Save Lives
Heart Disease is the #1 killer of women in America. Tasteful Treasures has lost two employees to Heart Disease and is helping to fight back by donating both time and talent to raise awareness and promote a healthy heart in American women.

    NORFOLK, VA, February 05, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Several years ago, heart disease targeted a booming business; Tasteful Treasures. The company lost two dynamic consultants; one of them succumbed to a heart attack on Valentine's Day in 2008.

Since then, Kim Williamson, owner of Tasteful treasures, has been a strong advocate for the American Heart Association's Go Red for Women Campaign.

The Go Red for Women campaign is focused on encouraging awareness of heart disease and also action to save more lives. The campaign challenges women to know their risk for heart disease and take the necessary steps to reduce their personal risk.

Kim Williamson is taking action one step further by involving her business in the fight against Heart Disease. Tasteful Treasures is an industry leading romance enhancement home party business that raises money all year long to fund the fight.

"February is a special time." Commented Williamson. "Our company's goal is not just raising funds for this cause but educating women about heart health as well. Year to date, my company and my consultants have raised thousands of dollars for Go Red. We know that education is invaluable"

She credits her involvement and the education her team received from the Go Red campaign with saving the life of a 3rd consultant. Williamson explained the story, "After experiencing unusual bouts of exhaustion and disorientation, she was able to draw on her knowledge of heart disease in women and checked herself into the hospital for a lifesaving procedure."

To help the fight, Kim and her Consultants contribute a portion of the sale of their popular Amazing Heavenly Heart heated massage pad. For February, in honor of Heart Month (and their colleagues) they are adding more limited edition pieces into their line and donating a portion of the proceeds to Go Red.

"I'm proud of the way our girls rallied behind this cause. Not only do they generate sales of these items through parties and events, many of them match the company's donations from their own pockets." Williamson continued, "They are educating women every day to listen to their bodies and to take care of their hearts in more than just romantic ways.
