"This truly is the Magic City", states Tahiera. "You can get some of the most professional work done here, and the slower pace allows for greater productivity and creative expression", says the debut author. "That's why we have so many American Idol finalists coming out of Birmingham. You don't have nearly the distractions that exist in Atlanta, New York, or Los Angeles. The Cover Artwork for the book was created by local Birmingham Artist and Art Instructor Wendy LoVoy. Wendy, who was recently featured in Portico Magazine, is the owner of Wendy LoVoy Art Gallery here in Birmingham. Other contributors to the project include Graphic Designer, Photographer, and Ceramic Artist Mike Hawkins of Mind Canvas, Vickii Howell of Birmingham View Magazine, and Fernando Valentin of The Trinity Design Group. Other local talent include Tahiera's daughter, Nekita Clark, who did the final edit on the book. Tahiera's son, Raymond Clark handled many of the details of marketing and promotion and concept, during the production phase, and helped to promote the initial release to various agents and publishing companies, prior to the final print date.
