Taylor Morrison Master Plan Avalon at Telfair HOUSTON, TX, April 22, 2010
/24-7PressRelease/ -- Taylor Morrison has released the master plan for Avalon at Telfair, a new 108-acre community in Sugar Land. Central to the master plan are six lakes that will be surrounded by landscaped parks and green spaces and accented by walking trails, bridges, benches, dramatic lighting and water features.
"The focal point in Avalon at Telfair will be the lakes and parklands. Wide, natural green spaces and long entrance streets will give each village a true sense of arrival, privacy and separation; ideal for multi-generational living," said Amy Haywood vice president of sales and marketing for Taylor Morrison's Houston division.
Taylor Morrison homes priced from the $400,000s to over $1 million will be available in three villages that feature either 70-, 80- or 90-ft. home sites.
The Tuscany and Marseille models, under construction in Telfair's model home park, are designed for a growing housing market--multi-generational families. Private Adult Suites or Casitas on the first floor are ideally suited for both young adults, older family members and/or extended visitors. Pre-sale opportunities are anticipated for May with the grand opening June 19.
The recreation center in Avalon at Telfair is situated on approximately 2 acres. The center will have a splash pad, playground, and a covered structure. Avalon at Telfair residents will have full access to all amenities at Telfair; a 400-acre Sugar Land park is adjacent to the community. Located at U.S. 59 and University Blvd., Telfair is in the top-rated Fort Bend Independent School District.
Avalon at Telfair is the third Avalon branded community for Taylor Morrison. Avalon at First Colony in Sugar Land and Avalon at Seven Meadows in Katy were developed by Taylor Woodrow LP who merged with Morrison Homes in 2007 forming Taylor Morrison.
