Technology Expense Management Industry Association (TEMIA) Announces New Educational Initiatve

Members Provide Enhanced Industry Information and Insights on Developing Trends

...sharing knowledge through digital content is key to our industry as a whole. This program promises to bring relevant information to TEMIA members and IT leaders

WEST LAKE VILLAGE, CA, December 07, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marking its 10th year since inception, the Technology Expense Management Industry Association (TEMIA), is launching a new blog content effort focused on dispersing educational information, authored by members; each expert in their area of focus. This shift reflects the changing dynamic in the art of technology management; beyond a single focus on telecom expenses, and toward a broader landscape of challenges facing commercial and government organizations today.

Thought leaders from TEMIA's membership will be featured each month on a wide range of topics including budget planning; risk mitigation and compliance; inventory management; vendor selection; best practices in mobile help desk; data analytics and reporting; usage management; and bill payment. The postings will be spotlighted on TEMIA's website and the blogs will be further propagated on LinkedIn, Twitter and other media.

The inaugural posts have been published.

"We recognize that the industry around Technology Expense Management has evolved in recent years, yet the typical perception amongst technology oriented professionals and users of TEM/WEM/MMS solution providers, may not be in step with the myriad of advantages available today," stated Nina Doherty, TEMIA PR Committee Chair and InvoiceIQ Vice President of Sales and Marketing, "and we aim to bridge the information gap through this forum."

"It is exciting to be involved in the first month's blog posts," remarked Rachel Knibbs, Marketing Manager at Veropath. "This is a fascinating time to be in the TEM industry, as it evolves beyond telecoms to focus on the wider world of technology. As a European TEM provider, sharing insight and understanding with other providers' different perspectives is interesting and valuable."

The blog initiative aligns with TEMIA's original founders' objectives in raising awareness and knowledge of the benefits of TEM, WEM and MMS solutions. TEMIA seeks to improve the quality and value of solutions through the development and promotion of open industry standards. In addition, this program shall help to cultivate shared industry knowledge.

Each month two posts will be published. The first features timely year-end topics on the theme of budgeting and planning. "It is a privilege to write the first post in this series," noted Carrie Davis-Sydor, Director of Channels and Alliances with Cimpl "and I believe that sharing knowledge through digital content is key to our industry as a whole. This program promises to bring relevant information to TEMIA members and IT leaders alike, and I look forward to watching it evolve."

TEMIA's ongoing mission is to raise awareness, to improve the quality and value of solutions and to cultivate shared industry knowledge for Technology Expense Management, Telecommunications Management, Telecom Expense Management, TEM, Mobile Expense Management, Managed Mobility Solutions, MMS, Mobile Device Management MDM and Enterprise Mobility Management, EMM solutions. TEMIA seeks to do this through the development and promotion of open industry standards, and industry knowledge among solutions providers, business partners, telecom service providers, and enterprise clients. Further, TEMIA members subscribe to a Code of Ethics, which clearly establishes standards and differentiates their level of commitment to their clients.
