BROOKLYN, NY, September 01, 2009
/24-7PressRelease/ -- "I have prayed on it and it's been validated that this mission is dedicated to Senator Kennedy", Victor Mooney said to the communications director at The John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum on Friday. "I would like to make my first visit to your museum next week to reflect on the journey that awaits me", Mooney added. Mooney's inaugural row for HIV/AIDS in 2000, was dedicated to John Cardinal O'Connor. Mooney also heads the Irish African-American Society of North America. The museum will welcome Mr. Mooney on Wednesday.
Mooney (43) of Forest Hills, New York, will be making his third attempt to cross the Atlantic Ocean from Africa to Brooklyn by a rowboat named "Never give up" on December 1, 2009 - World AIDS Day.
"He (Kennedy) was the most reliable, the most prepared, and the most persistent member of the Senate," Senator John McCain said. "He took the long view. He never gave up." (quoted from wire reports).
