Temple Beth Shalom Palm Coast Set for 1st Annual Soiree

Temple Beth Shalom (TBS) Palm Coast kicks off 2015 with its first annual fundraising soiree on March 8th.

PALM COAST, FL, January 20, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Temple Beth Shalom, Palm Coast's warm and welcoming Jewish Community announces its 1st annual fundraising soiree. The event takes place at La Piazza Cafe in the European Village on Sunday, March 8, 2015.

Under the new regime of Rabbi Zev Sonnenstein, Temple Beth Shalom (TBS) is now an active synagogue here in Palm Coast. "We're working hard to rejuvenate the current membership," says Robert Arkin, TBS President, "and to increase our family." "I would like to invite everyone to our benefit dinner for TBS", says Arkin. "This will allow us to continue our community work for Flagler/Volusia County."

"March 8th is also International Women's Day," says Robin Coles, event organizer. "I thought it would be the perfect time to celebrate with a gala event. The evening will begin with music and a silent auction which to date includes two chefs donating their time for a day. One chef is the head chef of La Piazza Cafe; where the event takes place. "

During dinner, guests will enjoy a stellar 4-course meal featuring entree selections of salmone arrosti, pollo picatta, arrosto de carne, ravioli or risotto de verdure grigliata. We'll also have red and white wine, music and dancing. Our selection of ravioli and risotto is a great alternative for those who eat wheat, gluten and lactose free.

"At this time we haven't decided on the music," says Coles, "however, it doesn't matter who the committee chooses, everyone is sure to have a great time."

Temple Beth Shalom (TBS) is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization that provides a warm and welcoming Jewish Community. The Temple is active in both Flagler and Volusia Counties and works with the Federation Federation and other Jewish organizations locally in order to create a vibrant, creative Jewish community; including to help feed the homeless. TBS has an active Hebrew school, regular Shabbat services both Fridays and Saturdays. For more information visit http://www.tbspalmcoast.org.
