-- French Fusion
Holidays was founded in 2003 by husband and wife Benn and Amy Coley. "We created a new genre of family holiday back then," said Benn, sitting poolside at their impressive hillside house that has become a home-from-home for hundreds of British families seeking holidays in France with a difference. "No Going Back certainly was the springboard we needed," remarked Amy. "We were delighted when Channel 4 decided to feature us in a follow-up series."
These family activity holidays
are ideally suited to one big family or two smaller families who like to holiday together. French Fusion can cater for up to 11 people. French Fusion Holidays has activities to suit all children of all ages, from toddlers to teenagers. Even the grown ups have a great time indulging in a little bit of surfing, white water rafting, mountain biking, stand-up paddle boarding and canoeing with their children. "We can now proudly say that we host probably the best family activity holidays in France," said Benn.
French Fusion is ideally situated near Biarritz in the South West of France, in the pretty little village of Pouillon. Its location is ideally placed for day trips to the golden sandy beaches with their amazing waves for surfing. That isn't where it ends as they are also only an hour away from the foothills of the Pyrenees where their guests can do some of the best white water rafting, canyoning and mountain biking that Europe has to offer. "With the benefit of the mountains and the Atlantic coastline so close, there is pretty much nothing that cannot be arranged for families and their children," Amy pointed out.
French Fusion Holidays includes all transportation, from airport transfer to all the activity destinations: the beach, the foothills of the Pyrenees, the local vineyards, the ports and the beautiful Basque beach towns in the South West of France, including Biarritz, Bayonne, Hossegor and St Jean de Luz.
The cuisine at French Fusion is second to none. Amy lovingly prepares all meals taken at their beautiful Basque style guest-house, Houtsak Ina, utilising fresh local produce, much of it sourced from local markets and farms. All breakfasts, lunches and dinners are served on the wonderful terrace overlooking the swimming pool and the landscaped and woodland gardens. "Most of our guests over the last 10 years have gone home raving about the food and insisting Amy write her own cook book," laughs Benn.
French Fusion will tailor holidays to suit each your family's desires. The Coleys aim to make it a family activity holiday in France that will be remembered for a long time and ensure they go home and tell all their friends what an amazing, action-packed time was had in this beautiful part of France where they can eat and drink to their heart's content.
"Booking a holiday
with French Fusion couldn't have been easier," said Ian McAllister, one of their guests. "We found them online at, www.frenchfusion.com
. Amy gave us a call for an informal and friendly chat, asking about our dietary requirements, children's ages and our appetite for activities. It's perfect. I would describe it as a five star home-from-home without having to cater for yourself or think of what to do whilst on holiday. Benn and Amy do it all for you - even keeping your children entertained and tired out by the end of the day."
