    NILES, IL, February 1, 2012 /Cambridge Who's Who/ -- Teresita S. Manuel, Permanent Charge Nurse for Norwegian American Hospital, has been selected as a VIP member by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in nursing.
A veteran nurse with 45 years of experience, Ms. Manuel has distinguished herself by her skills in neonatal intensive care. She celebrates her 25th anniversary as a permanent charge nurse for Norwegian American Hospital, where she cares for premature or ill newborns in the NICU and provides leadership to other nurses as a supervisor. Ms. Manuel recalls that it was her lifelong dream to become a nurse, and attributes the success and longevity that she has enjoyed in this endeavor to her faith, wisdom, talent and ability to lead others.
Ms. Manuel received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1964 from Far Eastern University in the Philippines. She is the founder of the Far Eastern University Nursing Alumni Association of America based in Chicago, Ill. and a member of both the Illinois Nurses Association and the Philippine Nurses Association. As she moves forward in her career, Ms. Manuel intends to expand her alumni association and offer scholarships to new nursing students.
