Terry Tomsick focuses on the defense of professional licenses, as well as mental health law, employer-employee disputes, mediation and binding arbitration.
DENVER, CO, September 03, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Terry Tomsick, Sole Owner and Attorney of the Law Offices of Terry Tomsick, has been recognized for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in professional ethics.
Ms. Tomsick has 38 years of legal experience, with 33 years as the owner of the Law Offices of Terry Tomsick. Throughout her career, she has set herself apart among other legal professionals by developing a comprehensive skill set that includes criminal procedure, constitutional law and judicial matters. In addition to her position as an attorney, Ms. Tomsick is a part-time magistrate and law professor. As such, she is frequently called upon to conduct weddings and travel abroad to teach legal subjects. For 2014, she has accepted a visiting professorship at the University of Maribor, Slovenia, for two weeks and another visiting professorship, also for two weeks, at Rezekne University, Latvia. At both schools, she will teach comparative criminal procedure.
As an attorney, Ms. Tomsick focuses on the defense of professional licenses, as well as mental health law, employer-employee disputes, mediation and binding arbitration. She also works as an expert witness in fee contests.
Ms. Tomsick received a Master of Laws in bioethics from McGill University in 2008, a JD from the University of Colorado School of Law in 1976 and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Stanford University, where she graduated with honors in 1973. In addition to her degrees, she has received a certificate of completion for a program undertaken at the Center for International Legal Studies, Salzburg, Austria in 2013, as well as a certification in comparative law and procedure from National Judicial College in Dublin, Ireland in 1998, and a certificate of completion for the NITA Teacher Training Program at Harvard University in 1995. She was recently inducted into Worldwide Registry and also maintains an AV-Preeminent Attorney rating from Martindale-Hubbell. To give back to her community, Ms. Tomsick contributes to such worthy organizations as the World Wildlife Fund, NPR, the ASPCA, Colorado Public Radio, the Rotary Club of Denver Mile High, Historic Denver and the Denver Dumb Friends League. In years to come, Ms. Tomsick intends to continue to deliver the highest quality representation for her clients.
