Throughout May, High School Seniors from throughout Long Island are encouraged to go to WBAB.com and WBLI.com or KiaBig3.com to take the pledge not to text while driving. Upon Taking the Pledge, they will be registered to win a 3-year lease on a 2014 Kia Soul, courtsey of the KIA BIG 3 Dealerships in Bohemia, Lindenhurst and East Meadow.
"Texting and Driving is the number on killer of teens in America", said Rocco Panetta, Founder of the Texting Awareness Foundation. " Our Campaign is designed to reduce accidents simply by making the public aware of these dangers and continually reminding them through a variety of outlets. The Grand Prize Graduate will be announced on June 16th, 2014 and will be invited with their family to join WBAB and WBLI personalities and KIA BIG 3 owner Joe Catalanotto for a special reception where they will recieve the keys to their new Kia.
